Landscape photography is really the study of our natural environment that is usually best recorded in the early morning hours and in the soft afternoon light that lingers. Sometimes I create panels of a landscape that I shoot vertically with a 50mm lens to get a wider perspective or a panorama, and I then stitch them together in Photoshop. If I want to add a subject or other elements to the story, I composite another layer to the backdrop and work on integrating the various elements into a cohesive image.
